Parish church; 1848 rebuilding by W. Nicholson, with changed dedication to St. Matthew. 12th and 13th century building; earlier dedication restored with 1896 reconsecration. 1856 tower heightened. Norman west door, removed to north tower wall (1).
Contains a number of features dedicated as war memorials (2-3).
Church rebuilt 1848, incorporating Norman tower. In use for public worship (8).
