This deer shelter was built in the gothick style in circa 1760 for Bishop Trevor. It is a large square enclosure of stone with a small tower on the east side, built in the style of a castle. It was used as a shelter for deer in {Auckland Park D1443}, and huntsmen could sleep in the tower. This is a Listed Building and a Scheduled Monument protected by law.
