Original railway station, later goods station, now 3 houses. Opened in 1856 for Darlington and Barnard Castle Railway Company it closed to passengers and became solely a goods station in 1861, when the South Durham and Lancashire Union railway Company opened the new station. The portico was removed to Valley Gardens, Saltburn in 1863 and incorporated in the Albert Memorial. Closed in 1965. Listed Grade II. (2)
