House probably built late 18th century, a lintel stone with a date of 1786 thought to commemorate major improvements. Refronted circa 1830. Building thought to have housed a Wesleyan Methodist school before 1881. Front pebble-dashed with basement of dressed stone. Roof of stone flags.
