16 Elvet Bridge, Durham City (Durham City)
The ground and first floors probably date from the late eighteenth or early nineteenth century. The lower floors of 16 and 17 Elvet Bridge seem to have been part of the extensive Debtor's Prison in the eighteenth century. This is a Grade II Listed Building protected by law.
