This house, 16 and 16a The College, is on the site of the Chamberlains' Exchequer. It was rebuilt as a house for a prebend, the head of one of the abbey's estates. The building is of medieval origin, but has 17th and 18th century alterations. This is a Grade II* Listed Building protected by law.
