This building was a Baptist Chapel, no longer in use. The date over the door is 1872. Over a side door is carved "British Workman"; this was the entrance to a working men's reading room. The late Victorian journal British Workman advocated self-help, education, Protestantism and temperance.

Baptist Chapel. Dated 1872 over door. Rock-faced coursed squared sandstone, in thinner courses towards top, with ashlar dressings; Welsh slate roof with rendered and stone chimneys. One storey, 5-bays, the left lower. (8)
