Hardwick Hall (now a hotel) is a medium-sized country house. It was built in the early to mid 18th century, possibly around an earlier 16th century building. It has later additions. It is made from hand-made bricks and covered in a render. It is L-shaped in plan. There is a small chapel on the second floor. Hardwick Hall is a Grade II listed building protected by law.
