Hawthorn Dene Viaduct (Hawthorn)
This railway viaduct was built for the Seaham to Hartlepool line of the North-Eastern Railway Company, which opened in 1905. There are five arches, each with a span of 25 ft, plus a much larger arch with a span of 118 ft. It is built of brick.
