Seaham Hall Hotel AKA Seaham Hall Hospital AKA Seaham Hall Nursing Home AKA Seaham Hall Sanatorium, Coast Road, Seaham (Seaham)
Seaham Hall was originally built as a stuccoed, two-storey country house within its own private grounds circa 1790. The building is a grade II listed building protected by law. Seaham Hall was used as the 28th Durham VA Hospital during the First World War. In 1927 the hall and grounds were presented to Durham County Council for use as a sanatorium. Various additions and it became renowned as a cardiothoracic centre. Converted to a hotel and then a nursing home.
