This is a 12th century parish church. It has additions of 14th and 15th century date and in the 19th century the north aisle was widened. It is mainly made of sandstone blocks. Memorials include large slab with eroded coat of arms to Sir John Duck Bart, and members of his family to 1695.
The church is also known to contain a number of features dedicated as war memorials (2-3).
