This is a memorial stone cross to Beatrix Frances Lambton, Countess of Durham, died 1871. 1873 designed by Sir Thomas Drew and made in Dublin by Walter Doolin. The cross, a reproduction of the cross of Monasterboice, County Louth, Eire, has a base with carvings of scenes from the New Testament. Both cross and base have elaborate Celtic decoration.
