This is the church of St Mary-le-Bow. It is now used as a heritage centre. It is a 17th century (c.1685) rebuild of an earlier medieval structure. The tower dates to 1702. It was repaired and restored in the 19th century. Monuments include marble slab with coat of arms of Thomas Wilkinson and members of his family, died 1718 to 1733. (1)
There is also a plaque dedicating the repair of a decorative screen as a First World War memorial (2-4).
This is a Grade I Listed Building protected by law.
