This is an unusual form of grave marker. Whereas many are like slabs, in Medieval times laid flat or in Post Medieval times more often stood vertical, this laid flat presents a triangular cross-section. They are thought a compromise between a Medieval cross grave slab and a hogback of the 12th century.
