This is a group of school buildings at Durham School. The south building was built in 1843 by Salvin and Pickering and includes the remains of an earlier building. The frontage building, which stands on Quarry Heads Road is of slightly later date. The gateway dates to 1927 and was built as a memorial to Graham Campbell Kerr. This is a Grade II Listed Building protected by law.
