Cathedral Cloister (West Range), Durham city (Durham City)
This is the west range of the cloister of Durham Cathedral. It includes the old undercroft and the dormitory of the priory. It is now part of the library, and also included vestries, the treasury and a restaurant. The dormitory door dates to the 12th century- much was rebuilt around 1400. In 1849-53 it was converted to a library. This is a Grade I Listed Building protected by law.
