This is east range of the cloister at Durham Cathderal- it includes the slype, chapter house and the priory prison. Building began in the 11th century and they continued to be altered through the 12th and 13th century. The chapter house was mostly rebuilt about 1895-6 in memory of Bishop Lightfoot. This is a Grade I Listed Building protected by law.
