This small boundary stone is a Listed Building; the letters on either side of the stone indicate the ownership of the ground to either side. DC stands for the Dean and Chapter of Durham, whilst the single B may stand for the Bishop of Durham. These are common features of the Post Medieval period - though not all may be so well marked.
