Lavatorium in Cloister Garth, Durham Cathedral (Durham City)
This stone basin stands in the centre of the cloister of Durham Cathedral. It was used by the monks to wash themselves. It is made from Teesdale marble. It has been resited from the south-west corner of the cloister courtyard. This is a Grade I Listed Building protected by law.
