West Loups Farmstead, Cotherstone Moor (Cotherstone Moor)
These are the remains of a small stone farmstead, probably of 17th century date, which overlies a Medieval settlement. It was once thatched with heather, but it burnt down in the 1920s. It was later destroyed by the army. The only standing building is now the privy, though the outlines of the other buildings can still be seen (1).
