A single cup and ring mark, along with over thirty cup marks in several curved lines, are found on a stone slab at this site. These carvings were probably carved in the early Bronze Age or late Neolithic. The purpose of these carvings is not clear though they may have had a religious function. This is a Scheduled Monument, protected by law (1).

A prehistoric carved rock, 1.8 metres by 2.1 metres by 0.2 metres high. It is situated in the Ministry of Defence Danger Area at Loups's, Cotherstone Moor, 310 metres west of East Loups and about 50 metres west-north-west of a limekiln north of Sunny Brow. The carving consists of many cups, at least one of which has a ring. There are also a few faint grooves. (9)
