This building, now a university department building possibly contains Medieval fabric; early 19th century refenestration and internal alterations. Sandstone, eroded and partly obscured by mortar, with some quoins and brick insertions; ashlar dressings in brick parts; Lakeland slate roof with brick chimneys. L-plan. This is a Grade II Listed Building protected by law.
