Roman Road, possible course of, crossing the Tees at Barnard Castle, a segment of Margary road RR820 (Barnard Castle)

A Roman road branched off the Roman road near Bowes and headed in the direction of Binchester via Raby Castle. The road was found at the base of the incline down from the Castle where a river crossing was made (2 & 3).
