Red Hall Moated site, Haughton-le-Skerne
Red Hall is surrounded by a medieval moat. The site was excavated in 1966 and the remains of two buildings were found. Pottery discovered here suggests that the site was occupied from the late 13th century to early 15th century. Further work has found additional evidence of activity on the site.
