God's Bridge Quarry & Kiln (3), Stainmore Forest, Bowes Moor, Teesdale (Bowes Moor)
This quarry and limekiln stand on the south bank of the River Greta. Limestone from the quarry was burnt in this limekiln to make lime. This was used to improve soil quality and as an ingredient of cement.
