Stewarts Court, Shipwreck off Horden (Horden)

Possibly the site of the wreck of the steamship 'Stewarts Court' from Sunderland, which was sunk by a German torpedo some five miles south of Seaham harbour on 21st August 1918.

If the STEWARTS COURT, she was bound from Seaham for London with coal when she was torpedoed by German submarine UB-112. (3)
