Colliery Houses, Houghall (Houghall)

Remains of colliery houses built during the 1860's for miners and their families. They were two up, two down with back to back fireplaces, and are constructed of brick with concrete floors. At the rear is a pantry/scullery. A common open drain ran along the rear of property.
