Curvilinear stone enclosure, East Mellwaters, Bowes (East Mellwaters)

East Mellwaters. The settlement is to the north of the Sleightholme Beck 1990
These are the remains of a small Iron Age settlement. A curved stone enclosure contains a number of round houses. A later sheepfold has damaged one end of the enclosure (1) (2).
