Curving linear earthwork, Billing Hills, Eastgate (Eastgate)

These are probably the remains of a small water channel connected to the nearby 19th century lead-working site.

Curving linear earthwork feature - originally thought to possibly represent celtic fields, but probably either a disused boundary or ?water conduit associated with nearby lead workings. Probable Post Medieval date. (5)
