Eggleston Bridge AKA Egglestone Bridge, Teesdale (Eggleston)

The bridge at Eggleston has two arches, one slightly pointed and one semi-circular. The bridge survived the great flood of 1771, which destroyed many other bridges in the region. It was built in the seventeenth century.

17th century on the site of a Medieval bridge which had a bridge chapel in the late 15th century. (10)
