A two-storeyed house of coursed rubble masonry. It is of 16th century date with a few of the original windows preserved. "They are of three lights, straight-headed under hood moulds, with depressed arches for each light. The centre of the house was the hall, which still has its large fireplace. One doorway to the offices or kitchen also remains. The front of the house has slightly projecting wings to the left and right of the Hall".

The windows are actually of four or two lights. A blocked door, probably the original entrance is between the projecting wings. The stone roof may be original, as may be the lower portion of the chimney in the southeast gable wall. Two doors are dated 1762 and 1765, but the building is of c.1600. A third doorway, dated 1564, was uncovered in November 2004 the site.
