Neville Gateway, Raby Castle, Staindrop (Raby Castle)

This 14th century gatehouse stands at the north end of {Raby Castle D13833}. The drawbridge has a modern causeway. The gatehouse, also known as the Porter's Lodge, is preserved on its original state. The two smaller towers on each side were added in the mid 18th century.
