Old Eldon Deserted Medieval Village, Eldon, Sedgefield (Eldon)

This is the site of the shrunken medieval village of Eldon. The surviving buildings are arranged along both sides of a village green. The traces of the deserted buildings can be seen as well-preserved earthworks (1).
