Auckland Park, Bishop Auckland (Bishop Auckland)
The deerpark at Auckland was first mentioned in 1181. It was enlarged in 1350 and by 1647 it was over 500 acres. It was surrounded by stone walls and wooden fences. It was landscaped in the mid 18th century.
