St Mary Magdalenes Hospital And Chapel at Witton Hall, Witton Gilbert (Witton Gilbert)
The present farmhouse incorporates a pointed window of late 12th century or early 13th century date, and a round-arched Norman doorway, which was probably the chief entrance to the hospital.
The remains of a chapel known at the site and dedicated to St John are possibly located towards the river. A chapel dedicated to St John was also located at {Beaurepaire D1310} and this may be the same building which has been confused previously.
