John Duck's Hospital, Great Lumley (Great Lumley)

This is the site of a set of almshouses built in 1686 by John Duck. They were to house 12 elderly people. The buildings were arranged around a courtyard, and there was a domestic chapel in the northeast corner. They were demolished in 1971.
