A stone in this field has several cup and ring marks and cup marks carved onto it. These carvings were probably created in the Early Bronze Age or Late Neolithic. The purpose of these carvings is not clear, though they may have had a religious function. This is a Scheduled Monument, protected by law (2).
Bronze Age cup and ring marked rock (in situ). The rock is carved with a large pecked 'basin' 0.25m in diameter and over 0.2m deep, a single cup mark and four cup and ring marks (10).
