Ants Hills cairnfield (Elsdon)
Less than half a mile north-west of Tod Crag is an area of forest that was once open country. There were at least twelve cairns here, of later prehistoric date, before the trees were planted. The cairns were known as Ants Hills burial mounds. It is possible that most of this cairnfield has been destroyed by tree planting. (1)(2)
