Overacres (Otterburn)

(NY 908393306 - Sited from HHR map) Grade II* Gate Piers to Overacres. The modern farmhouse stands on the site of a mansion of the Howards, but the gate piers of stone are among the finest in Northumberland 1720, armorials etc. of Charles Howard. (1)

Gate piers, garden walls, railings and sundial, c.30 yards south of Overacres. Grade II* listed. Gate piers with flanking walls, railings and end pier with a sundial. 1720, possibly re-set, for the Howards of Redesdale. (2)
