Cup marked stone (Kirkwhelpington)

Cup marked stone located in cairnfield (NY 98 NE 40) c.100m south west of the south corner of a modern fence. It bears eleven cup marks which average 30mm in diameter and up to 20mm deep. The rock is turf covered. (1)

A cup marked stone was recorded at NY 95938 85003, measuring 0.3m by 0.25m by 0.2m high and bearing at least three small cup marks. It lies in dense heather. (2)
