Gun Stone boundary stone (Kirkwhelpington; Elsdon)
Split stone slab found during fieldwork, presumed boundary stone. (1)
Boundary stone between Kirkwhelpington and Ottercops. The initials 'DN' (unknown), 'O' (Ottercops) and 'WT' (Walter Trevelyan) are inscribed. Trevelyan acquired Ottercops in the late 18th century. (2)
A large cuboid block of stone inscribed WT and O lies in the marsh. It measures 1.3m long by 0.4m wide. (3)
