Little Bavington Tower. The present hall may stand on the site of the tower. (3)

The pele was built in the 14th century by William de Shaftoe. Robert Langwath lived there in the 15th century. It had been enlarged and modified by 1715, as Bavington Hall, when Warburton visited it. In circa 1720 George Delaval rebuilt Bavington Hall. Dodds believes the library may be the site of the pele. (4a-b)
