Anglo-Saxon inhumation burials (Corbridge)
Two Anglo-Saxon inhumations were found at Corbridge Roman station and town in 1947 or 1948. They probably date to the later fifth or early sixth century and are earlier than other Saxon finds from the site. The finds were donated to the Museum of Antiquities in Newcastle.
