Boundary Cross (Hexham)

The site of the southern sanctuary cross of Hexham, was on the top of Gallow's Bank. (1)

NY 94266334 No further information discovered regarding the site of this cross. The top of Gallows Bank is centred at NY 942633. Hexham was a chartered sanctuary from the 7th century until after the dissolution (NY 96 SW 1). (2)
