Park House Fell lime kiln (Blanchland)
The remains of an 18th century lime kiln stand close to those of a hush and ore works. The heat-reddened base of a corbelled, single-arch kiln, is all that survives; it stands about 0.5m high. Nearby is a heap of stone that appears originally to have been part of the kiln. A quarry also stands nearby and was probably the source of limestone used in the kiln. This is a Scheduled Monument protected by law.
