Cowey's Cairn to Cooper Stones boundary stones (Otterburn)
Two post-medieval estate or farm boundary stones were located here by archaeologists in 1976. A map drawn in the 19th century shows eight boundary stones in this area, between Cowey's Cairn and Cooper Stones. The stones are inscribed `B/D', which stands for Branshaw/Davyshiel, the two farms or estates divided by the stones. The stones probably date to between 1770 and 1850.
