Cairn on Barracker Rigg (Otterburn)

NY 886976 Cairn 'U'. (1)

No trace of a cairn in the area given by authority 1, but prominently situated at NY 88319756 on slightly south-east sloping pastureland is a turf-covered stony mound 12m east-west by 10.5m and 0.7m high. Although the mound has been generally mutilated and spread and has no traces of a retaining circle of ditch, it is probably a burial cairn. Surveyed at 1:10,000. (2)
