Greenridge deserted medieval village (Hexhamshire and District)

There is little documentary evidence about this former village. It was recorded in 1547 and is shown on a map of 1769. The map shows two groups of buildings called East and West Greenridge but they are now only single farms. No earthworks of the old settlement have been recorded around either farm.
