Cist burial at Cornhill (Cornhill-on-Tweed)
[NT 85843923] In demolishing the old chapel at Cornhill [for the erection c.1752 of St Helen's Church on the same site] a 'British' grave was found, consisting of a 'cavity made of stones' eight feet in length. In the grave was a skull, leg bones, and two urns. (1)
