Black Knowe boundary markers, Falstone Forest (Falstone; Tarset with Greystead)
A series of boundary stones lie along a high ridge above Smales. They mark the boundaries of Roughside Farm and Smales Farm and are inscribed with the letters N/S (Northumberland/Smales) on one side and A/R (Allgood/Roughside) on the other. They probably date to the 18th or 19th century.
